Position: Facilities Maintenance

Location:  Various Company Facilities

Type: Full Time

Wage: $16/hour


This position is responsible for performing facility maintenance by repairing, maintaining, and improving buildings and structures.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Routine and emergent maintenance of all facilities.
  2. Maintenance support of all programs including electrical repair (moving sockets/switches and troubleshooting, HVAC troubleshooting to the component level, advanced plumbing repair and maintenance (to include soldering), painting, and advanced repair or replacement of drywall.
  3. Removing and replacing floor coverings.
  4. Refurbishing apartments.
  5. Read and interpret facility blueprints, produce shop drawings.
  6. Repairing appliances (i.e., washing machines, dryers, refrigerators, and stoves).
  7. Overseeing and enforces facility safety.
  8. Assisting with apartment moves and heavy lifting.
  9. Assisting and overseeing the work of Maintenance Engineer l.
  10. Must have reliable transportation.
  11. Available for on call rotation.

General Duties and Responsibilities:

This position does not have supervisory responsibilities.

Education & Experience:

Two years of college or four years of related work experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Certificates, Licenses & Registrations

  • Certification related to maintenance (HVAC, Engineers License, etc.) (preferred)
  • Valid Colorado Driver’s License
  • Proof of current automobile insurance

Physical Requirements & Work Environment

  • Occasionally exposed to physically and/or verbally aggressive clients.
  • Stand 49% of the time; Sit 2% of the time; Walk 49% of the time.
  • Assess and observe objects at all distances.
  • At times job requires stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, handling items, and feeling items.
  • Heavy physical effort is required by occasionally handling objects up to 100 pounds.
  • Exposed to outdoor environment 50% of the time.
  • Noise level is usually moderate.
  • Job tasks involve exposure to blood, body fluids, or tissue.
  • Working remotely is NOT available.
