Position: Full Charge Bookkeeper
Location: Grand Junction, CO
Type: Part Time, Temp-to-hire
$15 - $18 /HR Minimum or DOE: Dependent on Experiencer

In search of a Full Charge Bookkeeper, we are seeking an experienced candidate with the ability to complete month end & work on a full time basis.

Job Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Bookkeeper
  • Minimum 2 years accounting experience
  • Associates degree in Accounting or related field, equivalent experience may suffice (Strongly Preferred)
  • Advanced accounting and bookkeeping software experience
  • Background Check
  • Drug Test


Job Responsibilities:

  • Full cycle accounting duties
  • Code & enter vendor expense invoices
  • Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable
  • Prepare bank deposits
  • Ensure accuracy in general ledger
  • Complete all journal entries
  • Prepare monthly and quarterly tax returns
  • Balance intercompany receivables
  • Prepare balance sheet & income statement for accountants


Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Knowledge of financial statements & tax returns
  • Knowledge of accounting systems; Quick books, Excel spreadsheets, etc.
  • Strong attention to detail & organizational skill set
  • Strong computer skill set
  • Aptitude for business
  • Able to analyze & problem solve
  • Able to sit for long periods of time, in a clerical sitting
